My name is Shannon Seigle, and this is my 25th year teaching science. I have taught a variety of sciences to students from 7the grade through college. This is my 7th year teaching 11th grade Biology and 12th grade Scientific Research at STEM School Chattanooga. I love science and doing hands-on activities and labs, and I am inspired by seeing young people enjoy and accept the challenge of being scientists. At STEM, my room is the home of the first ever hub of the 4K Microscope project, where, through the connectivity of the Gig, students can video-teleconference with other schools to share the experience of collecting authentic data.
